Miller Industries is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician for our 1st Shift in Fenton, MI. 1st Shift hours are Monday – Friday, 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with some overtime hours on weekends as needed for production. The basic responsibility of the Maintenance Technician is to perform and coordinate preventative and reactive building and equipment maintenance.

High School diploma or equivalent, Technical or Vocational school certification or equivalent in training and 2+ years of related experience.

 

The job is performed in a manufacturing setting regularly exposed to the following: noise, fumes, dirt, heat, sparks, smoke, dust, vibration, grease, moving objects/parts. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required. Work may include exposure to hazardous chemicals. Inside working conditions with exposure to hot and cold conditions.

Must have the physical, mental strength, and endurance to perform duties. Physical ability to frequently walk, stand for extended periods of time, balance, stoop, crouch, kneel, push, pull, twist, turn, and lift while performing functions of position. Must be able to reach overhead and climb ladders as needed. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
