The Electrical Maintenance Technician will report to the Maintenance Manager; this position will be responsible for maintenance activities within the department. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment with complex operations. Responsible for troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of production machines, buildings, forklifts and overhead cranes and for preventative maintenance of plant and production equipment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Apply electrical theory to test and troubleshoot machinery and heavy equipment.
Diagnose and correct electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic malfunctions.
Plan, direct, and record maintenance standards.
Recommend or initiate modification or replacement of faulty equipment.
Qualifications
At least 5 years of Electrical Experience or equivalent education/experience.
Troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to communicate effectively, written, and oral.
Team-oriented and work well in a busy workplace.
