Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Electrical Maintenance Technicians for projects located in and around Latta, SC. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of $29.50-32.50/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plastics processing equipment (blenders, extruders, draw stands, winders, conveyors, chillers, towers, and support equipment).
Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC control circuits, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, lubrication systems, welding, and plumbing.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
Work with electrical distribution and machine controls (24–480V AC/DC).
Diagnose and repair programmable logic controllers (PLCs), variable frequency drives (VFDs), robotics, and automated conveyor systems.
Support plant and facility maintenance needs to ensure production and delivery commitments are met.
Champion plant safety by following all safe work practices, including LOTO, hot work, electrical safety, and PPE requirements.
Contribute to and improve the preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime.
Propose and implement equipment modifications to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Provide leadership in equipment troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Perform project work and other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Requirements:
Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with experience in industrial maintenance.
Proficiency in troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, robotics, and automation systems.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
Hands-on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems.
Knowledge of safe work practices (LOTO, hot work, PPE, etc.).
Welding, plumbing, and shop tool experience.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
