Skills
" Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including 120V, 240V, and 480V equipment.
" Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical control circuits, motor controls, relays, contactors, VFDs, and sensors.
" Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC documentation.
" Knowledge of electrical safety practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and NFPA 70E standards.
" Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical issues on production and processing equipment to minimize downtime.
" Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and the ability to identify faults within automated systems.
Qualifications
" Performed troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems, including motors, control panels, VFDs, instrumentation, and automated production equipment.
" Read and interpreted electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
" Conducted electrical preventive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
" Demonstrated experience working safely with industrial electrical systems up to 480 volts.
" Supported installation and commissioning of new equipment, including electrical connections, testing, and startup activities.
Education
" High School Diploma or GED- Formal Technical Training a plus.
" At Least 5 years of working in a maintenance role or related field.
" Technical certification, vocational training, or coursework in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
" Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent industrial electrical experience is a plus.
