Electrical Maintenance Technician - Relocation Available

The Electrical Maintenance Technician will play a critical role in maintaining plant reliability across a continuous manufacturing environment. This is a reactive maintenance-focused position supporting production operations and responding to equipment failures as they occur.

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, instrumentation and automation systems throughout the facility
• Diagnose faults on programmable logic controllers - Allen Bradley, motors, drives, sensors and associated control systems
• Maintain and repair alternating current and direct current motors, power distribution systems and industrial equipment
• Respond to breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and technical drawings
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately within the maintenance management system
• Support continuous improvement, safety initiatives and operational reliability objectives across the plant

For the Electrical Maintenance Technician we are seeking:

• Minimum 3 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing, processing, metals, heavy industrial or similar environment
• Technical degree or formal training in Electrical Technology, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology or related discipline
• Proven experience troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLC)
• Hands-on experience working with alternating current/direct current motors, drives and industrial control systems
• Strong electrical fault-finding and root cause analysis capabilities
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
• Familiarity with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and safe work practices
• Ability to work a rotating DuPont shift schedule covering days and nights
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently during off-shift operations
• Experience within a 24/7 manufacturing operation preferred
