Work hours - Friday through Sunday, 7:00pm-7:00am
License Requirement: Applicants selected must have a Masters electrical license required.
Responsibilities:Responsible for ensuring that all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the facility are operating at peak efficiency. This involves both planned preventative maintenance of equipment, daily corrective work, and emergency response to building issues. They are expected to be a singular focal point for all facility operations and support. Facility equipment that supports mission-critical servers must maintain better than 99.999% uptime.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience within the electrical field
Licenses and Certifications
Must possess a valid Master’s Electrical License (required).
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret/SCI Clearance.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
Proficient in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, blueprints, floor plans, construction documents, safety requirements, OEM operating and maintenance instructions, job specifications, and MOPs.
Ability to analyze, plan, and perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems throughout the facility.
Skilled in using hand tools and test equipment to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical equipment.
Must be able to troubleshoot advanced electrical circuits.
Knowledge of building automation systems (BAS) and their components.
Understanding of power density and HVAC system capacity parity, ensuring that availability and capacity targets are achieved and maintained.
Strong knowledge of emergency power generation and reliability systems; ability to operate and inspect to ensure compliance with MOPs, manufacturer guidance, and industry best practices.
Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities
Interpret and apply building codes, local and federal regulations, and site-specific requirements for installations.
Maintain maintenance records as required by City, State, and EPA regulations.
Organize and enforce safe maintenance principles to regulate and schedule planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
