Key Responsibilities
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Ten or more years of experience in electronics manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, new product introduction, product development support, production support, or related engineering roles.
Understanding of electronic systems and assemblies, with the ability to evaluate issues across electrical, mechanical, firmware, software, and manufacturing disciplines.
Ability to read and interpret PCB schematics, PCB layout drawings, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and test procedures, and apply that knowledge to understand design intent and support manufacturing, testing, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
Experience using electronic test and diagnostic equipment including:
Oscilloscopes
Digital multimeters
Logic analyzers
Power supplies
Signal generators
Experience soldering, reworking, and troubleshooting SMT and through-hole electronic assemblies.
Working knowledge of communication protocols including:
I2C
SPI
UART
CAN/CANopen
Ethernet
