Electrical Mechanic 2 (2nd/ 3rd) Shift

Overview

Maintain electrical power for lighting and equipment, detect malfunctions, and perform electrical repair and installation.

Qualifications

Education required: High School Diploma/GED required, Two years of trade school, college or equivalent required.

Licenses: Some licensing or certification preferred, Must have a valid drivers license and maintain a safe driving record

Experience: Four years experience or comparable combination of education and experience preferred.

Additional skills: Ability to repair, maintain, modify and install electronic and lower power electrical equipment with assorted hand and power tools, Basic understanding of the user of test instruments and diagnostic equipment, Ability to read manuals, schematics, and diagrams, with a basic understanding of blueprints, Ability to reason and troubleshoot problems in a logical, systematic manner, Ability to maintain and complete written records, logs, requisitions and work orders, Possess a basic understanding of applicable codes and ordinances, Knowledge of general safety rules, Knowledge of emergency response procedures.
