Electrical / Mechanical Assembler

Job Title: Electrical / Mechanical Assembler 
Location: Saratoga Springs, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
Pay: Starting at $25/hr depending on experience

 

Our client in Saratoga Springs, NY is seeking two experienced Electrical / Mechanical Assemblers. Their workload has increased, and they are looking to add reliable, skilled individuals to their team.

This position may be a great fit for candidates with experience in electrical wiring, control panels, metal cutting/drilling, inventory organization, or PLC-related work.

Ideal Experience May Include:

• Electrical wiring experience, especially with control panels
• Experience building, wiring, or assembling electrical control panels
• Experience cutting, drilling, or working with metal
• Strong inventory and organizational skills
• Experience working with inventoried materials
• Pallet jack experience preferred, but not required
• Forklift training is not required
• Experience with ladder logic, HMI/SCADA design, or PLC programming is highly preferred but not required for all candidates

Responsibilities May Include:

• Assist with electrical assembly, panel wiring, and control panel work
• Cut, drill, and prepare metal components as needed
• Read and follow electrical schematics or design layouts
• Mount components using hand tools and shop equipment
• Organize and maintain inventoried materials
• Support shop production and workflow needs
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting, and quality checks
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work independently and as part of a team

Requirements:

• Previous electrical, mechanical, assembly, inventory, or shop experience preferred
• Control panel wiring experience is strongly preferred
• PLC, ladder logic, HMI, or SCADA experience is a major plus
• Ability to use hand tools and shop equipment safely
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable, organized, and self-motivated
• Ability to work well with others
• Must be dependable and willing to learn
