About the Role The Electrical & Mechanical Tester performs mechanical testing and quality inspections on refrigeration and manufacturing equipment to ensure products meet engineering specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards. The role supports continuous improvement initiatives and maintains compliance with safety procedures.

Pay Rate: $20/hr

Available Shift Times

  • First shift: 6:00am – 3:45pm
  • Overtime and weekend work as needed

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional and performance testing on assembled refrigeration units and components
  • Inspect mechanical systems for proper operation and assembly quality
  • Use testing equipment, gauges, and measuring devices to verify specifications
  • Record test results and complete quality documentation
  • Identify defects, malfunctions, and non-conforming products
  • Support troubleshooting, corrective actions, and rework verification
  • Follow safety protocols and support lean manufacturing initiatives

Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic troubleshooting skills with electrical experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Experience with testing equipment and quality control procedures
  • Familiarity with lean concepts and safety standards
  • Must be flexible, motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
