Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled
Electrical Panel Builder / Electrical Assembler to join our team building custom industrial machinery and equipment. This hands-on position is responsible for assembling, wiring, and installing electrical components, control panels, and machine wiring systems according to detailed electrical drawings and schematics.
The ideal candidate has experience reading electrical diagrams, performing point-to-point wiring, terminating connections, and assembling electrical panels with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Build and wire industrial control panels and electrical enclosures.
- Install electrical components including relays, contactors, switches, terminal blocks, breakers, power supplies, and control devices.
- Perform point-to-point wiring and ensure proper wire routing and labeling.
- Cut, strip, terminate, crimp, and connect wiring according to specifications.
- Perform basic soldering when required.
- Install and wire electrical components on industrial machinery and equipment.
- Verify completed wiring against electrical drawings and schematics.
- Troubleshoot and correct wiring and assembly discrepancies.
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional wiring practices.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve assembly questions.
- Follow all company quality standards and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience with electrical assembly, panel building, or machine wiring.
- Knowledge of wire termination, crimping, connector installation, and basic soldering.
- Ability to use common electrical and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building industrial control panels.
- Experience with custom machinery or OEM equipment.
- Industrial machine wiring experience.
- Familiarity with PLC-based control systems.
- Electrical troubleshooting experience.
- Experience working in manufacturing, automation, or machine-building environments.

not required. We are primarily seeking individuals who can confidently read electrical drawings, understand wiring practices, demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, and produce high-quality work.
