Electrical Panel Wiring Technician

A day in this role

Picture your shift: you review a wiring diagram, gather your tools, and begin routing conductors across a control panel. You strip wire ends cleanly, crimp on the correct connectors, cinch neat bundles with zip ties, and verify connections from the panel to the unit. Along the way, you handle hand tools and air tools with confidence and keep production moving.

What you’ll handle

• Wire up electric and electronically controlled components on control panels and connect panels to units per diagrams.
• Route wires precisely according to schematics and work instructions.
• Strip, terminate, and label conductors; attach appropriate wire connectors.
• Bundle and secure harnesses using zip-tie tighteners for a clean, serviceable finish.
• Use common shop and electrical tools: hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, wrenches, air guns, strippers, solder gun, and cutters.
• Support the team with other reasonable manufacturing duties as assigned.

What you bring

• Ability to push up to 50 pounds on a conveyor system.
• Commitment to complete Wiring Certification training through Vertiv.
• Proficiency in PLC wiring and equipment installation & wiring.

Schedule & pay

• Schedule: Monday–Saturday (currently includes mandatory overtime).
• Pay: $16.80/hour, plus a $1 shift differential for 3rd shift.

Must be able to pass a pre employment drug screen and a background check!
