We are seeking an experienced Electrical Planner III to support nuclear plant projects and maintenance activities in a highly regulated power generation environment. This role is responsible for developing detailed electrical work packages, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring all planned work complies with applicable nuclear, safety, and regulatory requirements. Location: Richland, WA Duration: 12 months Key Responsibilities: Develop and prepare detailed electrical work packages for plant modifications, maintenance, and project activities. Conduct field walkdowns and evaluate job scope, materials, procedures, and safety requirements. Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Work Management, and Supply Chain teams to support project execution. Prepare and review work instructions, drawings, procedures, permits, and regulatory documentation. Ensure compliance with NEC codes, nuclear industry regulations, station procedures, and 10CFR50.59 requirements. Support scheduling meetings, troubleshooting efforts, clearance reviews, risk assessments, and planner peer reviews. Identify required materials and support procurement recommendations for project execution. Assist in developing and revising maintenance procedures and planning documentation. Required Skills: Strong knowledge of nuclear plant work management and planning processes. Experience with electrical maintenance and modification planning in a regulated industrial environment. Understanding of ALARA principles, nuclear safety standards, and plant security requirements. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency with computer-based planning and maintenance systems. Ability to obtain Planner I qualification. Required Experience & Education: Candidates must meet one of the following combinations: Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant technical experience; OR Associate degree and 8+ years of relevant technical experience; OR High school diploma/GED with technical training and 6+ years of relevant experience; OR High school diploma/GED and 10+ years of relevant technical experience. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75.00 to $81.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
