Job Description
- Review electrical plans, specifications, and design documents.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and material evaluations.
- Solicit pricing, analyze vendor proposals, and support subcontractor procurement.
- Coordinate procurement activities from design through project completion.
- Track electrical equipment, materials, and long-lead items to meet project schedules.
- Manage submittals, change orders, purchase documentation, and vendor communications.
- Monitor budgets and assist with cost-control initiatives.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure equipment is delivered per project requirements.
- Provide procurement updates and reporting throughout the lifecycle of international construction projects.
The Successful Applicant
- Strong electrical field experience within commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or large-scale construction environments.
- Experience as an Electrician, Electrical Foreman, Electrical Superintendent, Electrical Project Engineer, or similar role.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, materials, equipment, and installation practices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Interested in transitioning from field operations into a procurement-focused office environment.
- Experience with estimating, purchasing, subcontractor management, or procurement activities is highly preferred.
