PVT Engineer
Overview
We are seeking an PVT Engineer to support product quality, ongoing product development, and issue resolution within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve electrical system performance, resolve quality concerns, and support production activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support ongoing product development and quality improvement initiatives for electrical and electronic systems.
- Analyze and resolve product quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Track warranty-related issues and drive resolution activities.
- Identify opportunities for quality improvements and implement corrective actions.
- Evaluate field issues and recommend improvements to internal measurement and containment processes.
- Collaborate with product development, supplier, and production teams to resolve internal and external quality concerns.
- Support launch activities, including part sign-off, issue resolution, and electrical testing.
- Assist with production trials and troubleshooting of production units.
- Contribute to achieving overall product quality objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Product Engineer or Quality Engineer in an electrical or software environment.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies such as Six Sigma tools, 8D, 5 Whys, or similar approaches.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Engineer or Quality Engineer in an electrical or software environment.
- Automotive industry experience.
- Six Sigma training.
- Experience using Jira.
- Experience with vehicle OBD systems and CAN networking.
- Strong decision-making and troubleshooting skills.
