Job Description
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Experience designing and implementing industrial automation and control systems.
- Proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLCs, FactoryTalk View, PowerFlex drives, and Kinetix servo systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control panel design, wiring, and commissioning procedures.
- Knowledge of UL508A, NEC, NFPA standards, along with electrical calculations and component sizing.
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and SolidWorks Electrical is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial networking, motion control, and safety systems.
- Troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead automation projects from initial concept through startup, ensuring schedule, budget, and customer requirements are met.
- Design and develop electrical control systems, including PLC programs, HMI applications, and safety systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot automation hardware including servo drives, PowerFlex drives, and related systems.
- Create and maintain electrical schematics, panel layouts, and BOMs using CAD tools.
- Perform electrical design calculations such as conductor sizing, circuit protection, and power distribution.
