Electrical Project Engineer / Power Distribution - Canton, Ohio - JOB 26-00305

Salary Range:
$60k - $100k Permanent Position with Benefits

Canton, Ohio area Manufacturing Firm seeks an experienced Electrical Project Engineer who will be responsible for developing electrical drawings, creating detailed bills of materials (BOMs), and supporting production to ensure projects meet industry standards, customer specifications, and compliance requirements. This role requires hands-on collaboration with engineering, production, and customers to deliver high-quality electrical equipment solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Required)
  • A minimum of (4) years of medium voltage design experience
  • Electrical wiring design
  • Electrical drafting experience using AutoCAD and / or SolidWorks
  • Working knowledge of the following: National Electrical Code (NEC), Utility
  • Electric Service Requirements (ESR), ANSI & UL Standards, California Title 24 Compliance and the State Seal Process
  • Up to 25% travel required

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain electrical drawings in accordance with NEC, ANSI, UL, ESR, and CA Title 24 standards
  • Generate and release approved Bills of Materials (BOMs) to production
  • Revise and resubmit drawing packages based on customer feedback
  • Provide engineering support during assembly and wiring processes
  • Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and utility requirements
  • Log project data into manufacturing databases
  • Ensure compatibility with existing equipment and project specifications
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment
  • Support company goals and contribute to cross-functional team success
