Overview Intel's Global Construction Engineering (GCE) organization designs and engineers Intel's major manufacturing and cleanroom facilities worldwide. The Electrical Project Engineer, Global Construction Engineering supports the acceleration of Intel Foundry's manufacturing roadmap in a hybrid role based in Hillsboro, Oregon, with possible training assignments at other locations.Responsibilities Serve as the Owner's representative to provide technical guidance and issue resolution during detailed design and construction.Assess the feasibility of new projects and develop detailed scope through field walks and collaboration with facilities operations partners and project engineers from other disciplines.Define design criteria, lead scope definition and justification, develop design concepts, and oversee completion of positioning, programming, and detailed design.Manage the performance of the Integrators, Architectural and Engineering/Owner's design, and act as consultant vendor in their discipline.Interface and coordinate with contract design, construction, scheduling, and estimating resources.Interface with facilities staff and project managers to enable facility design efforts for their area of expertise.Work with estimators to ensure costs are captured and project budgets are met.Improve standards and drive innovative solutions, collaborating and sharing learnings with counterparts at other sites worldwide.Build and drive a safety culture of caring in every business environment, from front‑end planning to construction execution.Consult on any major construction project related to facilities power systems.Behavioral Traits Strong written, visual and verbal communication skills, especially in conveying technical issues.Willingness to collaborate across engineering disciplines, organizations, and geographic boundaries.Team and quality‑oriented approach.Technical writing skills (e.g., specifications).Experience leading and providing direction to technical teams.Champion and value the safety culture of caring throughout the project lifecycle.Qualifications Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field with 4+ years of experience on the design and construction of electrical systems.Experience managing electrical systems such as medium voltage, low voltage, emergency power systems, critical (UPS) power systems, lighting systems, and heat trace systems.Experience managing project change control, construction, start‑up, and commissioning/turnover of electrical facilities systems.Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field with at least 3 years of experience on the design and construction of electrical power systems focusing on industrial, semiconductor, and cleanroom projects.Professional Engineer status.Familiarity with reading and interpreting construction contract documents, line diagrams, and BIM (3D modeling).Knowledge of ATEX and EPD requirements.Experience with power modeling databases such as EasyPower or SLM.Familiarity with building and fire codes and hazardous occupancies.Job Details Job Type: Experienced HireShift: Shift 1 (United States of America)Primary Location: U.S., Oregon, HillsboroHybrid work model: split time onsite and offsite.Annual Salary Range $118,150.00 – $166,800.00 USDBenefits Competitive pay, stock bonuses, health, retirement, and vacation benefits.EEO Statement All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, age, gender, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.#J-18808-Ljbffr
