Location: Charlotte, NC
Salary Rate: $110,000 - $150,000 (salary depends on experience)
A leading electrical construction contractor is seekingan experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of mission-critical infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for managing complex projects that support data centers, utility systems, telecommunications networks, power distribution, and other critical infrastructure environments.
What You'll Do
- Lead multiple mission-critical infrastructure projects from kickoff through closeout.
- Travel to project sites nationwide to oversee construction, installation, scheduling, and execution activities.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and resource plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, stakeholders, subcontractors, and field leadership.
- Ensure all projects meet safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, procurement, and field teams to maintain project momentum.
- Manage project documentation, contracts, change orders, and reporting requirements.
- Drive accountability among project stakeholders while maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Facilitate regular project meetings and provide clear communication regarding schedules, deliverables, and milestones.
- Support continuous process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of project management experience within construction, utility, electrical, telecommunications, energy, infrastructure, or related industries.
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-site projects.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.
