Electrical Project Manager - Data Centers - Fort Collins, COThis opportunity is with an established General Contractor that specializes in converting existing buildings and structures into complex industrial complexes and is expanding into the Critical Facilities Market. The client applies expertise to brownfield data center projects, delivering end‑to‑end solutions tailored to mission‑critical facilities. This role offers career growth, engaging projects, leadership responsibilities, and competitive compensation.ResponsibilitiesProject focus 100‑500mm range across ground‑up data center, brownfield repurposing, or retrofits.Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and generate regional work.Create estimates, proposals, and develop time frames, work plans, and funding limits.Plan project procedures, staffing, and resource allocation for all phases.Maintain logs to track project progress.Administer on‑site supervision ensuring design, budget, and schedule compliance.Develop project plans: sizing, cost, budget, P/L, schedule, forecasting, and change order management.Manage multiple projects simultaneously; support the Senior Project Manager in contract negotiations.Coordinate with contractors and vendors daily to keep projects on schedule.Act as client point of contact and represent the company in meetings with all stakeholders.Develop change‑management forms and Methods of Procedure (MOPs).Ensure contractors and vendors meet daily project responsibilities.Lead regional supplier coordination and equipment delivery with the construction contractor.Plan manpower and internal project integration on client sites.Enforce company standards across project deliveries.Deliver Built‑to‑Suit projects with value‑engineering focus.Manage financial aspects of contracts, including progress billing and equipment rental.Plan, lay out, install, and wire electrical components per drawings, specs, and code.Supervise electrical installation and work‑site safety.Follow OSHA and national safety standards.QualificationsExperience managing Data Center Construction Projects as a General Contractor.Experience with budgets of $100mm or more.5+ years as a licensed journeyman electrician; electrical superintendent experience a plus.5+ years supervisory experience managing people and resources.In‑depth knowledge of electrical trade practices, methods, equipment, materials, and tools.Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.Ability to supervise skilled workers and provide guidance.Proficient interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints and specifications.Experience with UPS, switchgear, generators, PDUs, and associated cabling.Experience with crown box, offset, slice junction, and other electrical installations.5‑10 years in the Data Center Construction Industry.BA, BS, or Associate's Degree a plus.Client‑facing and relationship‑management skills.Solid Construction Project Management experience.Effective communication skills via email, phone, and face‑to‑face.Independent, self‑starter, highly motivated, and detail‑oriented.Heavy travel or local availability near site.Strong administrative skills.OSHA certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months).Financial experience: forecasting and budgeting.Computer proficiency: MS Project, Excel, Teams, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Procore, AutoCAD a plus.Military experience a huge plus.EOE/AA Employer M/F/D/V#J-18808-Ljbffr
