McGraw Kokosing is a leading industrial maintenance contractor based in Middletown, OH, specializing in off‑site manufacturing, pipe fabrication, electrical, instrumentation, structural steel erection, rigging, and equipment setting.The ideal candidate will support a team in implementing electrical systems for large‑scale industrial construction projects, managing the entire project lifecycle from pre‑construction to final acceptance.Responsibilities Manage project engineering and related personnel functions and activities, including planning, estimating, procurement, design review, project controls, and work assignments.Ensure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support the overall construction schedule.Develop timely project cost estimates or bids using self‑perform labor and prepare contract documents to obtain vendor quotes for materials, equipment, and specialty items.Interface with departments and internal staff on budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and other activities requiring discretion and judgment.Review engineering plans and vendor submittals, convert successful estimates into projects, and monitor assignments to ensure specifications are met.Conduct field visits and spot checks, ensuring compliance with county, state, and OSHA policies and regulations.Participate in staffing plans, cost‑code creation, budget preparation, and business planning efforts.Qualifications 6+ years of similar construction Project Engineer/Manager experience.Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management preferred.Previous work experience with IBEW preferred.Current Michigan Electrical Contractor's License and eligibility to work in Michigan.Skills & Abilities Strong knowledge of safety laws, company policies, standards, and collective bargaining agreements.Effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (tact, diplomacy, influence).Business acumen and ability to build trust and achieve results with clients and team members.Strategic planning over entire project span with foreseeing and mitigating obstacles to performance.Proficiency reading drawings, interpreting work specifications, and understanding work scopes.Attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and strong work ethic.Benefits Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurancePaid time off401(K) plan with company matchCompetitive incentives for eligible team membersEqual Opportunity Employer McGraw Kokosing is an equal‑employment‑opportunity employer.
