Electrical Project Manager / EstimatorA growing design-build construction and real estate development organization is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager / Estimator to oversee electrical construction projects from conceptual budgeting through final closeout. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems, estimating methodologies, project planning, subcontractor management, cost control, and client relationship management.Estimating & PreconstructionPrepare conceptual, schematic, design-development, and final electrical estimates.Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documentation to develop accurate quantity takeoffs.Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and vendor proposals.Develop detailed project budgets, cost analyses, and value engineering recommendations.Identify project risks and opportunities during the estimating process.Assist with bid preparation, proposal development, and contract negotiations.Collaborate with design, engineering, and construction teams during preconstruction planning.Project ManagementManage electrical construction projects from award through closeout.Develop project schedules, procurement plans, and construction execution strategies.Monitor project budgets, forecasting, and cost performance.Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal project teams.Review and process change orders, RFIs, submittals, and pay applications.Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.Conduct regular project meetings and provide status updates to leadership and clients.Support field operations by resolving technical and schedule-related challenges.Manage project documentation, reporting, and closeout activities.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
