    Position Title: ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER - FORT WORTH, TXJob SummarySeeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead and oversee a variety of electrical construction projects from initiation through closeout. This role is responsible for managing all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, vendor management, and tracking equipment and material inventory. The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of electrical systems, permitting requirements, safety regulations, and project management methodologies. Success in this role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams, and deliver projects within scope and budget.Position ResponsibilitiesPlan, direct, and coordinate all activities for the projects assigned to ensure objectives are accomplished safely within prescribed funding and scheduling parameters.Monitor and control project budget and schedule.Prepare and report project costs, progress, and forecasts to senior management.Establish and execute project work plans.Maintain open communication channels with clients, regulators, or other stakeholders.Prepare and submit pay applications, requests for information, purchase orders, submittals, change orders, claims, requests for proposals, requests for qualifications, and any other required project‑related communication.Coordinate with Operations Manager and General Superintendent the allocation of shared resources such as personnel and equipment.Serve as company representative at required project meetings or hearings and prepare documentation, as necessary.Perform in‑depth review of all essential elements of projects assigned to identify challenges to mitigate or opportunities to realize.Supervise work performed to ensure it meets company standards and quality plan.Review drawings and specifications for constructability, completeness, and accuracy.Coordinate and supervise engineers, superintendents and foremen, service technicians and subcontractors of work through project completion.Promptly respond to project ad‑hoc needs.Understand and assist with enforcement of safety and quality control policies and procedures.Ensure all on‑site compliance with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules and company policies.Apply competent knowledge in heavy mechanical HVAC & plumbing construction, materials, equipment, and personnel for successful project execution.Travel to job sites is required to perform above tasks.Performs other related duties as assigned.Preferred Qualifications2+ years of related electrical experience as a Project Manager4+ years of field electrical experienceExperience with Engineering and Design/Build, retrofit construction projectsProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plusKnowledge of state and local building codesOSHA 30 certification is a plusKnowledge of project management software (PlanGrid, Procore, MS Project, MS Office, Smartsheet, Microsoft Power BI, Vista, Pvault)Accubid is a plusJourneyman license required; master license is a plusValid driver's licenseTravel is required throughout Texas and other states as required, home based from Fort Worth, TXBenefitsMedicalVisionLife Insurance / ADDisability InsuranceRetirement PlanPaid Time OffHoliday Time Off (varies by site/state)Associate Shopping ProgramHealth and Wellness ProgramsDiscount MarketplaceIdentity Theft ProtectionPet InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramFlexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)Personal LeaveAssociates may also be eligible for paid and/or unpaid time off benefits in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
