Job Title: Electrical Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a versatile Electrical Project Manager to join our growing office, capable of wearing multiple hats including Project Manager, Superintendent, Foreman, and more. You will assist with smaller services projects and be onsite to support crews as needed. This role requires someone who can independently manage small projects, run Method of Procedures (MOPs), review drawings, and oversee projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all aspects of field operations as the Field Project Manager.
  • Oversee multiple crews on major industrial upgrade projects within national industrial groups, including food/beverage, ethanol, manufacturing, and mining facilities.
  • Perform project takeoffs, review prints, and complete look-ahead schedules.
  • Order materials, manage crews in collaboration with foremen, and pull schedules.
  • Act as the main on-site superintendent with two leads/foremen reporting to you.
  • Manage material procurement and requisition needs.
  • Establish workflows and sequences to ensure projects remain on track.
  • Enforce safety regulations and foster a culture of workplace safety.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in electrical work, wiring, conduit, and PLCs.
  • Strong project management abilities in electrical construction.
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician License.
  • Experience as lead foreman or superintendent on at least one project.
  • Experience with industrial job sites involving instrumentation, pull schedules, and conduit runs.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Suite.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to manage a project takeoff and effectively run crews of varying sizes.
  • Experience in material ordering and look-ahead scheduling.
  • Effective communication skills for managing daily issues and progress updates with foremen.

Work Environment

This position involves working on industrial upgrades at facilities such as Goodyear, food/beverage, grain elevators, and mining sites. You will be required to wear a belt on site as needed and have a vehicle available to visit job sites. The role offers per diem allowances and some mobilization and demobilization cost coverage. The work environment encourages adherence to safety protocols and emphasizes the importance of workplace safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Prairie, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00/hr.
