A bit about us:We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and dedicated Electrical Project Manager to join our team! This is a permanent position in the engineering industry, offering an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects. As an Electrical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing electrical construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will work on a variety of sectors including healthcare, hospitals, K-12 and higher education facilities, commercial and industrial buildings, recreation and sports facilities, government and historical buildings, utilities, data centers and mission-critical facilities.

Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of electrical construction projects from initial planning to completion.
- Coordinate and interact with clients, contractors, and subcontractors on a daily basis.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Review and approve project designs, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Manage and supervise project teams, including in-house staff, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Regularly report on project status to stakeholders and senior management.
- Conduct project risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Effectively manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a project manager in the engineering industry.
- Proven experience in managing electrical construction projects in various sectors such as healthcare, hospitals, K-12 and higher education facilities, commercial and industrial buildings, recreation and sports facilities, government and historical buildings, utilities, data centers, and mission-critical facilities.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, and industry best practices.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating resources.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
