Job Details

We are a leading construction firm on the hunt for an experienced and dynamic Electrical Project Manager to join our team.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to bring their expertise to a variety of construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all electrical aspects of our construction projects from initial planning to completion. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, project management, and construction processes. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams, managing budgets, and ensuring the highest standards of electrical safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of electrical projects from conception to completion.
  • Review blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine the scope of the project.
  • Use Microsoft Project, Procore, and Blue Beam to plan, schedule, and track project progress.
  • Conduct electrical safety inspections and risk assessments to ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
  • Lead and manage a team of commercial and industrial electricians, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Provide accurate project estimates and manage project budgets.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with other project managers, engineers, and professionals to ensure project success.
  • Maintain constant communication with clients, contractors, and team members regarding project status.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager in the construction industry. (Managing projects valued at 3M+)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Procore, Blue Beam, and other project management software.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and safety regulations.
  • Experience as a commercial or industrial electrician.
  • Excellent blueprint reading and electrical estimating skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to lead and manage teams.
  • Exceptional budgeting and financial management skills.
  • Excellent risk management skills with the ability to identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
