About the Company

Owned and operated for over 40 years in Metro Boston. A Project Manager here works directly with ownership, not around them. The focus is design-build and fast-track projects, meaning this is not execution-only project management. You are engaged from pre-construction, working alongside the GCs, engineers, and architects who have trusted this firm for years.

Position Overview

The role opened because the project load has consistently grown. The next step from this seat is a Sr. Project Manager position as that growth continues. All projects are within driving distance of Metro Boston, so there is no overnight travel required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Lifecycle: Manage commercial electrical projects from pre-construction through closeout.
  • Design-Build: Oversee design-build scopes and fast-track projects.
  • Field Leadership: Lead foremen and field crews with direct supervisory responsibility.
  • Financial Oversight: Track job costs against budget and produce projection reports.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Work alongside general contractors, engineers, architects, and owners.
  • Site Management: Conduct weekly site visits across your active projects.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: 4 or more years of electrical project management or foreman experience.
  • Background: Field and design-build experience is required.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of NEC codes and standards.
  • Blueprints: Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
  • Multitasking: Proven ability to manage multiple active projects and lead field personnel.
  • Credentials: OSHA 10 card required; an electrical license is preferred.

You should be proficient in:

  • National Electrical Code (NEC)
