You’re the specialist who aligns people, process, and power—keeping the owner’s vision on track and everyone going home safe.
The opportunity
- 12‑month 1099 engagement on a mission‑critical construction project
- $50–$52/hour (1099)
- $500/week housing allowance for candidates living 75+ miles away
- Onsite, Monday–Friday, 8–10 hours per day; start immediately
How you’ll make an impact
- Act as the Owner’s representative on site—partnering closely with the GC and trade partners.
- Guide electrical safety programs with NFPA 70E and LOTO at the core; support high‑voltage work planning.
- Conduct hazard and risk assessments; review safe method working statements; lead root cause analyses after incidents.
- Keep daily logs tight and timesheets submitted weekly using digital tools.
- Communicate crisply with the Owner/Client and externally to the Project GC.
- Model a coaching mindset—be a Safety Coach, not a Safety Cop.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Mission‑critical/data center safety experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety preferred.
- 7 years’ experience in data centers; or 10 years of construction safety experience if you lack data center experience or a degree.
- Experience with high‑voltage environments preferred; strong NFPA 70E capability.
- OSHA 500/510; BCSP CHST preferred.
- Fluency in the local language and proficiency in English.
- In‑depth knowledge of regional H&S standards; competency with ISO 45001 and OHSAS 18001.
- Proficiency in Workplace Safety & EHS Management and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
