Description
A growing Seattle home services company is hiring an Electrical Service Manager to lead its residential electrical service team. This is a coaching and sales leadership seat, not a technical one: you will develop 8 to 10 selling technicians, run the numbers that move the department, and help a strong team get even better. The department already runs around a 65% close rate and roughly $400K a month in sales, so the job is protecting a good team and pushing it to the next level, with a base salary, profit sharing, and full training on the company's systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 8 to 10 residential electrical service technicians who diagnose and sell
• Hold a weekly 1:1 with every direct report and ride along across the Arlington to Puyallup service area
• Own the department numbers: close rate, average sale, department revenue, callback rate, and membership conversion
• Push close rate from about 65% to 70%+, keep average sale above $3,000, and keep callbacks under 10%
• Coach selling without high pressure, using the company sales system, ServiceTitan, and Rilla call coaching
• Own customer escalations and set the customer experience standard for the team
• Read the department P&L weekly and coach to it alongside the operations manager
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
• Proven experience leading and coaching a customer facing sales or service team, in the trades or in another industry such as retail, automotive, or field sales
• You have rolled out a sales or service process to a team and kept coaching it until it stuck
• A track record of moving close rate, average ticket, or revenue through coaching, and you can walk through your numbers
• You love the work and you love to win: you know where you rank and you chase goals nobody asked you to
• No technical electrical background required, this is a coaching and sales leadership role
• Comfortable with KPIs and learning to read a P&L
• ServiceTitan experience is a plus, full training provided
• Coachable and eager to learn a proven service and sales system
• Valid driver license with a clean, insurable driving record
• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and MVR
Benefits
• $90,000 to $115,000 base salary
• Profit sharing once the company clears 10% net profit, with performance bonuses of $20,000 to $50,000 a year
