Job Responsibilities
- Electrical System Installation \u2013 Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems in residential properties\u2022 Electrical Maintenance \u2013 Perform general electrical maintenance, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving electrical issues\u2022 Technical Diagnostics & Repairs \u2013 Inspect, diagnose, and replace faulty electrical equipment, wiring, or fixtures, ensuring the proper operation of all electrical systems\u2022 Circuit Breakers & Transformers \u2013 Inspect and perform corrective maintenance on circuit breakers and transformers to ensure they are functioning safely and efficiently\u2022 Blueprint Reading \u2013 Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints to accurately install or repair electrical systems\u2022 Code Compliance \u2013 Ensure all electrical work complies with national electrical codes and state and local building regulations\u2022 Customer Engagement \u2013 Engage with customers, explaining the issues, solutions, and outcomes clearly, while recommending additional products and services for optimal system performance\u2022 Service Titan Software \u2013 Track repairs, maintenance, and service calls through Service Titan software, ensuring detailed and accurate documentation\u2022 Safety Standards \u2013 Follow safety protocols to ensure all work is performed in a safe manner, protecting both the customer and team members
Qualifications
- Experience \u2013 3+ years of experience as a Residential Electrical Service Technician or a similar role\u2022 Licensing \u2013 Valid electrical license, if required by state or local regulations\u2022 Technical Expertise \u2013 Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components, with proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues\u2022 Service Software \u2013 Experience with Service Titan or similar trade software is a plus\u2022 Attention to Detail \u2013 Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and compliance with electrical codes\u2022 Customer-Focused \u2013 Strong communication skills to explain electrical issues and solutions clearly to customers\u2022 Driver's License \u2013 Valid driver's license with a clean driving record\u2022 Physical Requirements \u2013 Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to electrical installations and repairs
