Electrical Service Technician

This role keeps essential government facilities running — data centers, hospitals, and high‑reliability environments. You’ll work hands‑on with electrical and mechanical systems, perform diagnostics, and keep critical infrastructure operating safely and continuously.


What You’ll Do


+ Maintain and repair critical electrical + mechanical systems

+ Install and troubleshoot AC/DC power systems

+ Perform diagnostics using multimeters, DLROs, infrared tools

+ Service UPS systems, batteries, PDUs, generators, ATS

+ Read and interpret electrical schematics

+ Support BMS and EPMS operations

+ Perform wiring, conduit bending, and electrical service work

+ Work in a paired technician system for safety and support

+ Document work clearly and follow strict safety protocols

+ Work 12‑hour rotating shifts (including weekends/holidays)


What You Need


+ 5+ years in critical facilities (data center, hospital, etc.)

+ Strong AC/DC electrical skills + mechanical aptitude

+ Experience with UPS, PDUs, generators, ATS, BMS, EPMS

+ Ability to read complex electrical/mechanical diagrams

+ High‑voltage safety knowledge

+ Ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance

+ Willingness to work 12‑hour shifts in a union environment

+ Ability to earn a Harrisburg Electrical License within 1 year

Work Environment


You’ll work fully onsite in a secure government facility with advanced electrical systems — switchgear, generators, UPS, PDUs, ATS, BMS, EPMS. Shifts are 12 hours, rotating, with overtime built in. Technicians always work in pairs, follow strict safety protocols, and operate in a union setting with employer‑paid dues.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $108160.00 - $110240.00/yr.
