Hourly Rate:  $26.00 -$30.00    Based on qualifications and experience<\/b><\/span>

Dayshift:  Monday to Friday, 7:00am -3:30pm    <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>

Responsibilities: <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>
  • Complete all tasks independently, or with an apprentice, as required.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Skilled at terminating and pulling all types of data/cable wiring – Cat 6 and coaxial cable, TSP, etc. knowledge of fiber optics and fusion splicing is a plus.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Proficiency with electrical and low voltage rough -in work.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Proficiency at hand conduit bending (1/2 inch to 1 -1/4 inch) and wire pulling, larger conduit bending knowledge a plus.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading. Ability to do layouts from field sketches.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to troubleshoot/repair, a must.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Electronically submit details of work orders upon completion.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Handle on -call work as needed.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Ability to travel overnight for 1 -to -2 -day training classes, as required, but generally limited to once per year.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Professionally and timely communication with customers and Service Manager regarding the scope of service calls.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Maintain clean work areas. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ensure that materials, tools, and equipment are maintained in an orderly and safe fashion.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Communicate with other employees and management in a professional manner.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Conform to company policies, procedures, and safety requirements<\/span><\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>
    • Three (3) years' electrical and data experience or appropriate training experience.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Work towards a journeyperson certificate or equivalent.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • OSHA 10 -hour certification, preferred.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Strong electrical parts knowledge.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Proven computer skills especially Microsoft Office.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer relations abilities.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Ability to bend conduit with hand benders.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Maintain a set of personal tools as required by the company tool list.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Skilled use of all power tools, saws, threaders, wire tuggers, hydraulic benders, and knockout punches.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Capable of digging trenches, either by use of hand tools or in conjunction with an operator and power equipment.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Operate two (2) handed tools/equipment, cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools and jack hammers.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Operate company trucks with automatic transmission.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Operate and work from mechanical lifts (electric or gas powered.)<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Working knowledge of the most current National Electric Code (NEC) and NFPA70E.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Ability to follow instructions and work cooperatively with others as a team player.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
