Title: Electrical Silicon (FA) Engineer
Locations: Austin, TX (5x/ week onsite)
Duration: 6 Months
Salary Range: $50 - $56/Hour on W2 (All inclusive)

Introduction
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Information Technology Engineer specializing in Electrical Silicon Failure Analysis. This role requires a strong background in failure analysis of integrated circuit (IC) devices and module-level failure analysis (FA).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • BSEE with 5 years of experience or equivalent degree in Engineering or Physics.
  • Proven track record in performing failure analysis of IC devices and module level FA.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Physical and Electrical Failure Analysis at the silicon level.
  • In-depth knowledge and proficiency with board level FA.
  • Hands-on experience with EFA tools such as LIT, TDR, FIB, SEM, RIE, CMP, MIP, decapsulation, sample preparation, emission microscopy, laser scan microscopy, micro-probing, and nano-probing.
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in failure analysis using multiple tools and techniques.
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day activities for device-level and system-level FA.
  • Perform Electrical Fault isolation using multiple FA tools.
  • Produce technical reports of failure analysis findings.
  • Evaluate and maintain new equipment and techniques related to failure analysis.
