MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.Experience in Protection & Control or Substation Physical Design.Ability to review engineering drawings and identify design discrepancies.Strong communication and documentation skills.Travel Requirements:Project work consists of approximately 4-6 weeks of office-based drawing reviews, followed by 1 week of field investigations at substation sites, repeated throughout the program.Travel is required across utility service territories from Northern California to the Los Angeles region.What's on OfferHourly pay ranging from $90 to $110 USD, depending on experience.Medical, dental, and vision benefits offered.Temporary contract for 2+ months with the potential for project-based extensions.Immediate project start with work expected to continue through year-end.Candidates located within the project territory are preferred, though qualified candidates outside the area will be considered if travel is feasible.Immediate onboarding available for qualified professionals.
