"Electrical Superintendent for the Construction team on a utility-scale solar/BESS project in Alamogordo, NM. The Superintendent supervises and directs field crews and subcontractors for the electrical scope, ensuring work is performed safely, per OSHA 29 CFR 1926, project specs, and QA/QC standards, and within budget/schedule. Reports daily to the General Superintendent/Construction Manager.
Key Responsibilities: Lead daily coordination with GS/CM, subcontractors, foremen, and field teams on electrical scope; enforce OSHA compliance, JSAs/JHAs, and site safety protocols; conduct daily tailboard meetings, weekly coordination meetings, and look-ahead planning; verify electrical installation against drawings, specs, ITPs, and QA/QC checklists; manage subcontractor manpower plans, equipment needs, and sequencing; coordinate material deliveries, laydown, and logistics for electrical scope; provide daily/weekly progress reporting, manpower logs, and production data.
Requirements: 5+ years of field supervisory experience in utility-scale renewable energy construction (solar or BESS preferred); U.S. work experience required; OSHA 30 required (OSHA 10 acceptable for onboarding); ability to travel/relocate to project sites (up to 80-100%).
Logistics: Compensation budgeted at $130k, flexible for the right candidate with a stronger background. Per diem: $120/day, 7 days/week, except when on rotation (rotation travel paid by CJR; no hotels booked, per diem covers lodging while on rotation). Start in the Houston office, then relocate to the Alamogordo, NM project site. Company truck provided for work-related use once on site in Alamogordo, NM."
