Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Electrical Foreman to join our dynamic team. This role is a key position within our organization, offering a competitive prevailing wage. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all electrical tasks on construction sites, particularly in commercial installations, public works, and school projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a strong background in electrical work and team leadership, who is looking to take on a challenging and rewarding role in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all electrical tasks on construction sites, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of electricians, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to plan and execute electrical installations in commercial buildings, public works, and schools.
  • Utilize Bluebeam and Procore software to manage project documents, track progress, and communicate with team members.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and standards, implementing safety protocols and conducting regular safety checks.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
  • Provide technical expertise and problem-solving skills to address complex electrical issues.
  • Work closely with construction management to ensure projects are efficiently and effectively managed from start to finish.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Foreman or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience with electrical commercial installations, public works, and school projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety standards, and regulations.
  • Proficient in using Bluebeam and Procore software.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to mentor and motivate a team.
  • Excellent scheduling and project management skills, with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various construction sites.
  • Relevant certifications or licenses in electrical work or construction management will be highly regarded.
