We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Superintendent to join our innovative construction team. This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution of our construction projects from inception to completion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry, with a particular emphasis on commercial and industrial projects. This role demands a high level of leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. If you have experience in construction planning, budgeting, and design build, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
2. Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
3. Coordinating and directing all construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their duties and are performing them efficiently.
4. Using Procore and Bluebeam software for project management and document control.
5. Troubleshooting any issues that may arise, including electrical issues, using your expertise as a master electrician.
6. Managing the installation, maintenance, and repair of switchgear and other electrical equipment.
7. Ensuring all construction activities comply with health and safety regulations, and promoting a culture of safety on the job site.
8. Communicating effectively with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and responding promptly to any concerns or queries.
9. Participating in budgeting and construction planning, using your knowledge of commercial and industrial construction to ensure projects are cost-effective and high-quality.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry, preferably with experience in commercial and industrial projects.
2. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
3. Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
4. Experience as a master electrician, with a deep understanding of electrical systems and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
5. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
6. Experience with Procore and Bluebeam software.
7. A strong understanding of switchgear installation, maintenance, and repair.
8. Experience in construction planning and budgeting, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
9. A commitment to health and safety, with the ability to enforce regulations effectively on the job site.
