  • This role is responsible for driving electrical system performance across design coordination, manufacturing integration, field deployment, commissioning support, and operational scalability. The position requires strong leadership experience in complex electrical infrastructure environments including mission-critical facilities, data centers, industrial facilities, modular construction, or large commercial construction projects.
  • This position is based in the Birmingham, Alabama area with approximately 55–65% onsite presence and travel to active project sites as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, improve, and standardize electrical deployment processes across engineering, manufacturing, and field operations
  • Lead and develop a technical electrical team including project management, design, manufacturing support, and construction coordination personnel
  • Drive alignment between electrical design intent, manufacturing integration, commissioning requirements, and field deployment execution
  • Support electrical distribution strategy development including switchgear, generators, UPS systems, grounding and bonding systems, and mission-critical redundancy architectures
  • Ensure electrical systems align with manufacturability, repeatability, commissioning performance, and standardized installation practices
  • Partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, construction operations, and program leadership teams to improve deployment methods, electrical standardization, sourcing strategies, and operational efficiency
  • Support integration of electrical systems into prefabrication, modular construction, and repeatable manufacturing environments
  • Lead deployment support activities at active project sites including commissioning coordination, field execution support, and operational troubleshooting
  • Establish structured feedback loops between field deployment teams and engineering groups to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Reduce deployment variability while improving scalability, predictability, operational efficiency, and profitability
  • Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, one-line diagrams, submittals, and technical documentation
  • Support long-term electrical systems planning and operational improvement initiatives for mission-critical environments
  • Travel to active project sites to support deployments, field operations, commissioning activities, and cross-functional coordination
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in commercial, industrial, mission-critical, data center, or high-reliability electrical systems environments
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex electrical systems from design through deployment and commissioning
  • Strong experience supporting electrical systems across engineering coordination, manufacturing integration, construction execution, and operational deployment
  • Experience with electrical power distribution systems including switchgear, generators, UPS systems, grounding and bonding systems, and utility coordination
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, electrical safety requirements, and mission-critical electrical infrastructure
  • Experience reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, one-line diagrams, and technical design documentation
  • Experience integrating commissioning and operational performance considerations into deployment and execution processes
  • Experience with budgeting, cost control, margin accountability, or electrical project financial management
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and developing technical electrical teams
  • Ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, construction, supply chain, and operations teams
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to improve deployment standardization, operational consistency, and field execution efficiency in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to travel as required to support active deployments and field operations

Compensation:

  • Base salary in the 180k – 200k/year range
  • Annual bonus opportunity
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
