The Electrical Technician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems, automated machinery, and control devices in the prepared foods plant. They are responsible for troubleshooting equipment, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring systems run efficiently to maximize production and maintain strict food safety and animal welfare standards.
- Perform work repairing electrical and electronic equipment in a manufacturing plant.
- Install, inspect, maintain and repair electromechanical and solid state electrical equipment.
- Perform high voltage switching and operate generators in support of operations.
- Lead a work party in performing maintenance or repair work.
- Record and document maintenance performed.
- All other relevant duties to the job.
