Position Summary: The Maintenance Electrician is a member of the Maintenance Team reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager/Supervisors/Shift Leaders. The Maintenance Electrician ensures operation of production machinery and electrical equipment by troubleshooting, performing repairs and preventive maintenance in an effective, efficient and safe manner.

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of experience working as an Electrician in an industrial manufacturing or similar environment
• Efficient in sizing conductors, conduits and using NEC Code Book
• Experienced in handling low to high voltage up to 480 VAC
• Experience with installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and programming of VFDs
• Experience with troubleshooting PLCs
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair motor control centers (MCC) and all circuit protection devices
• Diagnose and apply results using: Voltmeters, ammeters, IR and megger

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experienced in Process Controls

Skills and Competencies:

• Ability to become qualified to operate lifting equipment (Fork Truck, Ariel lift, Etc.)
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills
• Highly motivated and self-directed
• Familiar with current Arc Flash regulations

Working Conditions:

• Have the ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Able to work in all weather conditions
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Willing and able to work overtime hours during the week, weekends and/or holidays as needed
• Position may require employee to work around and troubleshoot energized equipment
