Electrical Technician

Role: Traveling Electrical Technician
Location: Nationwide
Duration: Contract to hire
Compensation: $30 - $50 per hour (Depends on experience)
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Manager Notes:

• Candidate must travel to Lowell Arkansas on their own dime for Orientation on Day 1. After orientation, you will be on the clock and starting. . 
• Candidate will leave their personal vehicle in a secure spot at Wachter headquarters (Lowell, AR), while traveling
• Candidate will roll out in a company vehicle and utilize for the entire project
• All candidates need to have JM license, not an apprentice license.  Will consider candidate with UPS install experience without the license. License can be from anywhere.
• Valid Drivers License and over 21 to qualify as a driver for us. 
• Will be required to take an assessment in advance of an interview. 
• Working Hours are typically six days a week for 10 hours per day.  (60 hours weekly is average work week)
• Travel is nationwide in company vehicle
• There are opportunities to return home for a few days when there are breaks in schedule.
• For per diem:
  • My client, is open to paying for your hotel in advance and then offering $45 per day for food.
  • If you would prefer to cover your own hotel, my client will then offer $125 a day for hotel and food and leave it to you to take care of your lodging.
• For Gas, I believe you are given a gas card. 

 
Job Description:

• Scope is installing Generators/UPS systems within Walmart (Walmart is the end client)
• You will typically be traveling with two other individuals in company vehicle and traveling to various Walmart stores, nationwide.
• Some sites are a team- 4-6 people and some have some single works that also is just depending on the client and the job
