- Troubleshoot vehicle electrical systems, electrical and electronic components
- Diagnose complex mechanical/electrical systems
- Read electrical and mechanical schematics
- Understand electrical and mechanical drawings
- Replace, and tests malfunctioning electrical components on electrical power systems
- Make mechanical and electrical repairs
- Read and design electrical schematics
- Interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics
- Installing instrument and electrical equipment
- Maintain the plant's electrical equipment
- Manage electrical work orders, electrical maintenance job and contractors
- Read electrical drawings and use to troubleshoot and/or build electrical systems
- Review electrical design and installation work
- Load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment
- Perform electrical fabrication, assembly and testing of all treatment electrical systems
- Perform all other plant electrical maintenance
- Aid the electrical department with troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical equipment, implementation of electrical controls projects, and perform related electrical work
- Troubleshoot electrical fuses and motors
- Analyzing and correcting electrical problems and overhauling electrical equipment and controls
