Ayers Career College is currently seeking an Electrical Technician Instructor to help meet growing employer demand in this rapidly expanding field. This role offers a great opportunity to share your expertise by training and mentoring students as they prepare for a rewarding career.Instructors are responsible for educating students through both classroom instruction and hands-on lab experiences, ensuring effective teaching practices and supporting each student’s academic growth. They are expected to manage the classroom environment and foster a positive, engaging learning atmosphere. In addition, instructors provide support, tutoring, and other assistance as needed, while consistently modeling the professional conduct, language, and behaviors expected from students.
Qualified candidates should have:
Strong communication skills
Demonstration of integrity and professionalism in all aspects, including appearance, demeanor, and attitude
Ability to work in an observation/coaching style environment
Capability to prioritize, accept responsibility, and work within deadlines
Superior organizational and problem-resolution skills
Basic computer software skills including Microsoft Office
Job Requirements:
High school diploma / GED or higher
Minimum 4 years’ experience in the Electrical / Electronics field
Relevant Certification Desired
Teaching experience a plus but not required
