Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Technician for a Contract to hire with a client in Memphis, TN. The ideal candidate with experience performing 5DX verification, fault diagnosis, and component-level repair of electronic circuit board assemblies to ensure product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Rate Range: $20/hour to $27/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Electrical Technician Job Responsibilities include:

• Perform 5DX verification testing, diagnose faults, and repair electronic circuit board assemblies at the component level to meet quality and production requirements.

• Utilize electronic test and measurement equipment to troubleshoot assembly failures and validate corrective actions.

• Analyze fault data, test results, and inspection outputs to identify defects and perform appropriate rework activities.

• Interpret and follow assembly documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), visuals, work instructions, deviations, and test procedures.

• Collaborate with Test Engineering and manufacturing teams to improve diagnostic processes, increase efficiency, and achieve production yield targets.

• Adhere to company quality, safety, and security policies while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronic Systems, or a related technical discipline.

• 2+ years of experience in electronic circuit board testing, diagnostics, and component-level repair within a manufacturing environment.

• Strong hands-on experience with 5DX verification testing, fault analysis, and the use of electronic test and measurement equipment.

• Ability to interpret BOMs, assembly documentation, test procedures, and fault data outputs to troubleshoot, repair, and improve electronic circuit board assembly performance.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $27.00 per hour
