Electrical Technician

Bemana is searching for an Electrical Technician to join the world's largest equipment rental provider in Phoenix, AZ.

This role focuses on testing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and performing minor repairs on electrical equipment in a safe and professional manner. The ideal candidate has basic electrical/mechanical skills, enjoys hands-on work, and wants to grow their technical abilities.

Position Offers:

• $23-$30/hr depending on experience (If your target pay is higher, we still encourage you to apply—we could request adjustments based on experience and market conditions)

What You'll Do:

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and testing on equipment including load banks, MV cable, transformers, and electrical distribution equipment
• Read meters, perform voltage checks, ohm checks, amp checks, and document equipment conditions
• Complete basic electrical troubleshooting and minor repairs, including component replacement and contactor/relay cleaning
• Assist with equipment setup, testing, and future installations such as I-Line panels and breakers
• Prepare rental equipment for customers and ensure equipment is safe and operational
• Load/unload equipment and operate forklifts safely
• Demonstrate equipment operation and provide excellent customer service
• Support field service needs for customers including data centers, construction companies, and electrical contractors

Requirements:

• Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Ability to read electrical meters and understand voltage measurements
• Forklift experience required
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Strong teamwork and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn electrical troubleshooting and repair
