Technical Warehouse Associate (Electrical Field Technician)
Location
Sheboygan, WI

Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Unpaid lunch and paid breaks
Occasional overtime based on production needs

Overview
The Technical Warehouse Associate is a hands on role that supports warehouse, production, and light fabrication work. This position helps keep materials moving efficiently while also assisting with basic assembly, disassembly, testing, and minor repair of electrical equipment. It is a strong fit for someone with mechanical ability who likes variety and wants to grow in a fast paced environment.

What you will do

Warehouse Operations

  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
  • Organize, restock, and manage inventory
  • Process shipments using software such as UPS World Ship
  • Load and unload trucks and ensure items are properly boxed or crated
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse floor

Technical Support

  • Assist with assembly, disassembly, and reconditioning of electrical equipment
  • Perform minor repairs and basic equipment maintenance
  • Test electrical components to confirm proper functionality
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment

Fabrication Support

  • Operate fabrication equipment such as welding tools, cutting tools, and CNC machines
  • Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and shaping to specification
  • Inspect fabricated parts for quality and make adjustments when needed

Other duties may be assigned as business needs change.

What we are looking for

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Vocational training in fabrication, electrical work, or a related field is a plus
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and ability to troubleshoot basic electrical and mechanical issues
  • Willingness to learn new equipment and processes
  • Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively

Knowledge and Skills

  • Basic technical ability
  • Problem solving skills
  • Good communication skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally
  • Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion
  • Frequent walking
  • Occasional sitting, overhead reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
  • Lifting may include continuous lifting up to 10 pounds, frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, and occasional handling up to 100 pounds
