Pay range: $25 -$30 Per hour
Shift: Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 6:00pm
Primary Objective:
The Electrical Tester is responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of power distribution units through comprehensive testing and analysis.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Conduct electrical testing on power distribution units to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
2. Perform diagnostic tests to identify and troubleshoot issues within the units.
3. Document test results and prepare detailed reports for review by engineering and quality assurance teams.
4. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address and resolve any identified issues.
5. Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
6. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
7. Assist in the development and implementation of testing procedures and protocols.
Basic Qualifications:
1. Technical certification or associate degree in electrical engineering or a related field
2. Minimum one year of electrical testing experience
3. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
4. Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
5. No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate Torrance area (50 miles) will be considered for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience in electrical testing or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
2. Familiarity with power distribution units and related components.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
