Electrical Technology Instructor
Days: M - F On-Site Salary starts at $70,000 annually
State Technical College of Missouri is accepting applications for an instructor to start July 2026 Fall Semester within the Electrical Technology program. This is a full-time 9-month annual contract exempt and benefit-eligible instructor position.
Required Qualifications
• A minimum of five years of experience in the Electrical industry • A bachelors degree or the willingness to earn one • Excellent communication, computer, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Teaching/training experience • Five or more years of related work experience in one or more of the following areas: • Wiring • Conduit • Bending • Power distribution • Alternative energy systems • The National Electrical Code • Blueprint reading • Safety regulations • Working knowledge of generators • Electrical motors • Or motor controls
Job Responsibilities
This position would instruct and develop courses that may include the following topics: • Wiring • Conduit • Power distribution • Alternative energy systems • The National Electrical Code • Blueprint reading • Safety regulations • Working knowledge of generators • Electrical motors • Or motor controls
Additional duties include student recruitment, advisement, and college service.
