Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain electrical test procedures for production and qualification testing.
- Design and support test fixtures, test equipment, and automated test systems.
- Perform functional, diagnostic, and environmental testing to verify performance against specifications.
- Investigate electrical failures and non-conformances, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Partner with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality teams to improve product testability and reliability.
- Analyse test data and generate reports, recommendations, and process improvement initiatives.
- Support new product introduction activities through test strategy development and validation testing.
- Maintain, calibrate, and verify testing equipment in accordance with company and industry standards.
- Support quality system documentation, audits, and customer qualification requirements.

The Successful Applicant
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in electrical testing, test engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuit analysis, troubleshooting, insulation resistance testing, and hipot testing.
- Experience using multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, insulation testers, and data acquisition systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Experience with root cause analysis methodologies such as 5 Why, Fishbone, and fault isolation techniques.
- Exposure to automated testing platforms and programming tools such as Python or LabVIEW preferred.
- Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or other regulated manufacturing standards preferred.
- Hands-on experience with electrical fabrication, prototyping, assembly, soldering, or related activities.
- Experience with RF testing and/or 3D modelling software such as SolidWorks is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organisational, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and collaborate across multiple functions.
