Description

  • Develop, implement, and maintain electrical testing procedures for production and qualification activities.
  • Design, support, and improve test fixtures, test setups, and automated testing systems.
  • Perform functional, diagnostic, and environmental testing to confirm product performance and compliance with specifications.
  • Investigate electrical failures, identify root causes, and support corrective and preventive actions.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and customer requirements to ensure accurate validation activities.
  • Partner with Design, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to enhance product reliability, manufacturability, and testability.
  • Analyze test data, identify trends, and generate recommendations for process and product improvements.
  • Support new product introduction activities by creating test strategies and validating designs.
  • Maintain and calibrate testing equipment while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with quality documentation, audits, and qualification testing activities.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical testing, test engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a similar technical environment.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, troubleshooting methodologies, and insulation testing techniques.
  • Experience using test and measurement equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, insulation testers, and data acquisition systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis tools and structured problem-solving approaches.
  • Knowledge of quality systems within regulated manufacturing environments is preferred.
  • Exposure to automated test platforms, programming tools, or scripting languages is advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical assembly, prototyping, soldering, or related activities is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical thinking, documentation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across teams.
